A.N.T.S. Youth Ministry
Anointed • Nurtured • Taught • Saved
At New Mount Bethel Baptist Church, our A.N.T.S. Youth Ministry is dedicated to nurturing young people in their faith, helping them discover their God-given gifts, and preparing them to become confident Christian leaders and servants.
Our youth are encouraged to take an active role in the life of the church through our Youth Choir, Junior Deacon Board, Junior Usher Board, Drama Ministry, and other opportunities for worship, fellowship, learning, leadership, and service.
Through A.N.T.S., we strive to create a place where every young person feels welcomed, valued, supported, and encouraged to grow in their relationship with Christ. We believe our youth are not simply preparing to become the church of tomorrow, they are an important and active part of the church today.
Our mission is to anoint, nurture, train, and equip our young people to serve God, serve others, and boldly walk in their purpose.

Usher Ministry
Doorkeepers in the house of the Lord
Our ushers are often the first faces of Christ that people see. They greet every visitor, pass out programs, direct steps and wipe away tears, making sure everyone who walks through our doors feels welcome.
Usher Board #1 was established in the early 1960s by the late Sis. Rose Washington and the late Sis. Emily Goines. Usher Board #2 was established by Bishop Calena Browder, Past President. Today the Senior and Junior Ushers serve together, and the church celebrates the Ushers' Anniversary every August.
We give honor to faithful servants who have gone on to glory, including Sis. Maggie Edwards, Bro. Thomas "TJ" Howard and Deacon DeBerry Stewart. Well done, good and faithful servants.

The Bridge Ministry
Building a bridge between the church and our community
The Bridge is the community service ministry of New Mount Bethel. Its members take the love of Christ beyond our walls by serving our neighbors where they are, meeting real needs with open hands and open hearts.
The Bridge hosts free community events right on the church grounds, with food, music and fellowship for the whole neighborhood. Each summer, Bridge volunteers help send students back to school ready to learn, packing and giving away backpacks and school supplies, including at the 4th Annual Back to School Jam with Councilwoman Dee Dunn at Susan Park Gym.
On June 20, 2026, The Bridge hosted “Let’s Bridge the Gap,” a free community day of fellowship, resources, food and games. Neighbors received financial literacy guidance from the Urban League of Louisiana, free blood pressure screenings, and help registering to vote.

Every Member Serving
“As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.”
“For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.”
